A series of teachings on this most special and most effective, complete Mahayana practice. These teachings were condensed into the famous « 7 Points » by the famous 12th-century master Chékawa Yeshe Dorjé and set into writing by his disciple Sé Chilbu. The original instructions, far more extensive and comprehensive, came from the great 11th-century Indian master Atisha Dipamkara and became an integral part of basic Mahayana training within the Kagyu tradition, as well as in the Gelug tradition which emerged several centuries after Atisha.
